The aim of the scout association.

"The aim of the Scout Association is to encourage the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people so that they may take a constructive place in society. The Method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promise and Law, with guidance from adult leadership."


We have three sections, and regular contact with other groups where your older children are welcomed to complete the scouting experience for those up to 25 years of age. We welcome both males and females into scouting.

beavers    For children aged 6 to 8 years meet on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

cubs    For children aged 8 to 10½ years meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

scouts    For children aged 10½ to 14 years meet on Thusday from 7:45 to 9:30pm.
